In case you haven't noticed, this group is comp.lang.modula2, not
comp.lang.pascal.

In case your postings were not by accident, please note that this is
considered bad usenet etiquette. You won't see us posting the Modula-2
FAQ to comp.lang.pascal either. Readers of this group who are also
interested in Pascal will also read the pascal related groups. It is
therefore entirely sufficient to post pascal-only content to the
pascal groups.

thank you for your consideration

on the other hand, pascal and modula are so much related that one
could consider a well developped pascal project to be a challenge to
port to modula-2. I consider Amine's post as a teaser...

Besides, someone recently posted about ADA syntax highlighting in this
group... :o)

Let's not blow things out of proportion. Why so serious? Let's put
some smile on that face.

I've been a FreePascal user rather than Modula2 user for over a decade now,
so not to picky. However Amine seems to randomly advertise this everywhere
(including updates 4 times a week) remotely relevant (not just here)

The real problem though is that this is not straight pascal code that could
be converted to Modula2, since it is classes based Delphi styled code that
plugs into crucial classes in the RTL.

The relevance for systems without classes and these library base building
blocks is IMHO zero. It would be out of place in a traditional (non delphi)
Pascal group, let alone Modula2.
