Hello:

1. In what ways are we restricted from using ADW Modula-2 for commercial software development?

2. How does ADW's license affect what license under which we can release commercial software developed using ADW?

3. Do we need a separate licensing agreement from ADW for commercial software development?

There is license.txt in the doc directory. I don't see a problem in developing and selling commercial software from this license. Of course I am no lawyer. What part of the license gives you the impression of being restricted?

Hello again:

Are you referring to the "license.txt" file in the "doc" folder entitled "End-User License Agreement for Stony Brook Software"?

I have read that license and it is not new to me since I have used SB 2.2, 3.0, 4.0.

I just was looking for any ADW modifications to the SB license.
But I am not a lawyer either.

I never owned a copy of SB M2 so I just take the license (yes I am referring to that file) provided with ADW and that's all I can find. Of course one could try to ask the people who made ADW available -
